On Monday, November 3, the Filipina Women’s Network will launch "DISRUPT. Filipina Women: Proud. Loud. Leading Without a Doubt." in the United States. 

“DISRUPT. Filipina Women: Proud. Loud. Leading Without a Doubt” is the first in a series of leadership books by the Filipina Women's Network. Maria Beebe, the book's chief editor, describes the book as a collective synthesis on the meaning of Filipina women’s leadership experiences as they navigated the global workplace.

The book's authors are recipients of FWN’s 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World Award™.

“This book project is a deep examination of how Filipina women in diaspora thrived in the challenges of living in the modern multicultural global economy,” explained Susie Quesada, president of FWN. “This is the definitive book that will change the public’s perceptions of Filipina women’s capacities to lead, FWN’s Pinay Power 2020 mission.”

The Filipina Women's Network officially launched “DISRUPT. Filipina Women. Proud. Loud. Leading Without A Doubt.” at a press conference held on October 6, 2014 during its 11th Filipina Leadership Global Summit in Manila.

Held at A_Space Manila in Makati City, the launch featured book signings and readings by the authors.

This is the first of a series of leadership books … everything that we do [at FWN] is to advance the Filipina women in the global workplace. There’s is no research that we know of about leadership competencies of Filipina women and so [this book] is the first attempt to document the leadership competencies of all of the Filipina women in the diaspora.
